백련 스터디카페는 은평구 응암동에 위치한 약 60평 규모의 스터디 카페이다. 낮에 채광과 뷰가 좋다는 것, 그리고 다른 스터디 카페보다 더 자유로운 분위기를 원한 클라이언트의 요구에 맞게 창가쪽은 카페와 같은 분위기를 조성하였다. 카페존에는 각각 높이에 위계를 주어 모든 자리에서 시원한 백련산의 전경을 보며 실내에서 느껴질 수 있는 답답함을 해소할 수 있도록 설계했다. 일부 공간은 더 정숙한 분위기에서 집중할 수 있도록 부스석을 마련해 다양한 선택지를 제공하였다. 자연스럽게 통로를 따라 형성된 대칭적인 구조와 간접조명, 다양한 그림과 조형물 등을 통해 갤러리에 방문한 듯한 느낌이 들도록 구성하여 일상에서 많은 시간을 보내야하는 고객들이 기분을 환기할 수 있도록 했다.
Baekryeon Study Cafe is located in Eungam-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. Designed to reflect the client’s desire for a more relaxed atmosphere than typical study cafes, the window-facing area was styled like a cafe, with tiered seating offering a great view of Baekryeon Mountain. Booth seats were also included for quiet, focused work. The space features a symmetrical layout, indirect lighting, and curated artworks, creating a gallery-like ambiance that offers a short refreshing break from study routines.
