현대 사회의 수많은 직장인들은 이 도시의 ‘디딤돌’입니다. 코너스톤 커피는 그들이 바쁜 직장생활 속 잠시 숨을 고르고 충전하기 위한 공간입니다. 방문객이 스태프의 시선에 방해받지 않고 쉴 수 있도록 스태프 작업공간이 분리되어 하나의 바위와 같은 매스를 형성합니다. 좌석은 간단하게 업무를 볼 수 있는 대형 테이블, 편하게 휴식을 하기 위한 소파, 남들 시선을 신경쓰지 않고 잠깐 앉아있을 구석의 벤치 등으로 인원 구성이나 개인의 성향에 맞게 선택할 수 있게 다양하게 구성하였습니다. 입구에서 내부로 향하는 동선은 최대한 길게 기획하여 점심시간 틈새 도시 속에서 산책하는 듯한 느낌이 들기를 기대합니다.
In modern society, countless office workers are the “cornerstones” of the city.
Cornerstone Coffee is designed as a space where they can pause, recharge, and catch their breath in the midst of their busy work life. To ensure visitors can rest without feeling the gaze of staff, the workspace is separated, forming a single, rock-like mass within the space. Seating options are varied to suit group size or personal preference—large tables for light work, sofas for comfortable relaxation, and benches where one can sit briefly without drawing attention. The path from the entrance to the interior is intentionally elongated, offering the feeling of a short stroll through the city during a lunch break.
